With its plazas, temples, and ball courts, Cahal Pech invites exploration of its compact yet richly historical grounds, dating back to as early as 1200 BCE. A tour of this site often includes a visit to San Ignacio, a vibrant town known for its colorful markets, local cuisine, and warm, welcoming atmosphere.
